MLI offers networking assistance, search support, and search committee training, often at no cost. Consider offering our two-year instructional cohort program as a job benefit. MLI alumni stay longer in their jobs than the norm, often growing their ministry programs. And, MLI now provides some matching grants to small, rural, and urban congregations.

Youth Director – First UMC in Wellington, KS
This church is hiring a full-time youth director! The church is located just 40 miles from Camp Horizon. The volunteer team at this church is extraordinarily strong, so the new youth director will have a terrific level of support. Continuing education is offered as a benefit, which may include MLI training.

Youth Director – Aldersgate UMC in Wichita, KS
This is a newly-open full-time opportunity in youth ministry. Aldersgate UMC is a mission-oriented church with a collaborative staff. The church has a strong history of ministry with students and will provide support and professional opportunities to help the youth director succeed (MLI training is one possible benefit).

Youth Director – First UMC in Dodge City, KS
The youth group at Dodge City First UMC is big and bold! The church has a terrific facility, with a game room and a newly-renovated youth space. The church offers services in two languages, and the youth group is diverse and very active. MLI has a partnership with this congregation for coaching support.

Director of Student Ministries – First UMC in Ulysses, KS
First UMC in Ulysses is growing! The student ministry is strong, with a large and very cool space for youth. The newly-hired director will provide leadership to dozens of terrific students, benefitting from great volunteers. The church values collaboration and offers professional development. MLI has a strong working relationship with this church.

Director of Outreach Center & Ministries – First UMC in Columbus, NE
This MLI-partner church is seeing a director to lead programming and mission related to the church Outreach Center. Collaboration, management, and compassion are beneficial skills for this position. Coaching support may be available to the newly-hired director. The position is either full-time or part-time, depending on the candidate. This church has a strong team of volunteers who will be supporting this endeavor.
